Have you ever wondered if your vocation could be to dedicate your life to a greater purpose, serving and living in a community that shares the same values and faith? We understand that taking this step can bring up many doubts and even fears. "What if I'm not right?", "What if I change my mind?", "How do I know if I'm ready?". These are natural questions that arise when we are facing an important decision in our lives.

Here in the Congregation of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, we want to walk alongside you in this process of discovery, offering a welcoming and safe space to explore your vocation. We understand that each journey is unique, which is why we develop a careful discernment process that is adaptable to each individual.

Vocational Discernment

The first step is simple and only requires your willingness to contact us. As soon as we receive your message, we will begin a frank and open dialog, starting with:

Filling in the Vocational Form:

This is a moment of self-knowledge, where you will give us some basic information about yourself and your faith journey so far.

Dialogue and questions:

We will then contact you, either online or in person, to get to know you and your expectations. This is a time for questions and answers, where you can ask us about life in the congregation, and we can better understand your aspirations and concerns.

Vocational internship:

If you feel you want to continue, the next step is to experience a vocational internship in one of our religious communities. This period of internship is a unique opportunity for direct experience of community life and spiritual deepening.

Participation in meetings:

Depending on your interest, you will be invited to take part in four annual online meetings. These meetings are moments of formation, prayer and sharing, essential for discerning your vocation.

Initial training:

After careful vocational accompaniment, if you feel the call to join us, you will begin your formation at the formation house, located in São Paulo, SP. This is a time of learning, growth and confirmation of your vocation.
