Parish Pastoral
The School Sisters of Notre Dame play a vital role in the education and transformation of parish communities through the coordination of various pastoral activities. With a commitment to integral formation, we participate in everything from infant catechesis to deepening the faith for adults, always with the aim of cultivating a more lively and engaged community.
Catechesis and Formation of Catechists
Our catechesis program seeks not only to educate children and young people in the faith, but also to prepare catechists.
Youth Ministry and Vocation Formation
Youth ministry is a special focus in our educational efforts, aimed at forming community and vocational leaders. Our aim is to inspire young people to explore and respond to their vocational calling, whether it be within religious life, lay life or as Christian community leaders. We emphasize the development of leadership skills and the importance of a life of service.
Prayer Reading and Deepening the Faith
Prayerful Bible reading is a meditative practice that we promote to enable people of all ages to immerse themselves more deeply in the sacred texts. This contemplative approach aims to strengthen the personal relationship with God and enrich the life of the faith community.
Community Movements and Animation of the Faith
Our initiatives extend to local community movements, where we work to animate and deepen faith through activities that bring people together, celebrate our Christian heritage and encourage active involvement in the community.
Our Mission
As School Sisters of Notre Dame, we follow the Gospel mandate to proclaim the Good News. Inspired by the example of Jesus Christ, who was sent to manifest the Father's love to the world, we are called to make Christ visible through our being. We share our love, faith and hope, positively influencing the lives of many and promoting a more just and godly society.
